Chua's Oscillator - a system of three differential
equations realized in analog form to generate a chaotic ouput for
experimental use in creative musical applications (includes audio
and video samples).
Class D (PWM) Bass Guitar Amplifier -
ECE 345 (now ECE 445) Senior Design Laboratory project at the University
of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Acheiving output levels of 140W RMS
into a 2 ohm load and a frequency response of less than 20Hz to 5kHz
(+/- 3dB), the project was selected as the Spring 2002 Instructors
Award Winner for best project of the semester.
Business Software - A point-of-sale system,
plus account management and invoicing, reporting, maintenance logging,
employee clock, and purchase order system, reliably handling over $1M
in annual sales for Organic Resource
Management, Inc. in Florissant, MO for over two years.
Variable Voltage Output Switching Buck
Regulator - Designed on a 2-layer PCB less than 2.5" (63.5mm)
square to regulate 12 or 24VDC from an automotive-type charging system
down to a current-limited voltage-variable output of about 3V at currents
of around 3A in order to operate an auxilliary electric fuel pump at
a reduced output level.
Microcontroller-based temperature logging system
- 5 channel microcontroller-based temperature logging system, designed
using surface mount components to fit on a 2 layer PCB less than 2.5"
(63.5mm) square.
